According to the publisher, the “Jahrbuch der Architektur” honors “selected projects as representatives of contemporary building culture in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Outstanding buildings are presented in the chapters “Culture & Infrastructure”, “Living”, “Working” and “Education”.
Particular attention is paid to the design of cultural and infrastructure buildings and thus to places that create identity. The workspaces presented reflect the changing world of work by responding to the needs of employees and focusing on collaboration and the integration of co-working spaces. In the education sector, forward-looking spatial concepts are presented that meet the requirements of a modern learning environment.
