Book “JSWD Twenty-Five” to mark the anniversary

Published just in time for the start of the Frankfurt Book Fair

A quarter of a century ago, Konstantin Jaspert, Frederik Jaspert, Jürgen Steffens, Rolf Watrin, and Olaf Drehsen founded the JSWD architecture firm in Cologne. Time to take stock: Berlin-based publisher jovis Verlag has just released a book celebrating the firm's anniversary, aptly titled “JSWD Fünfundzwanzig / Twenty-five.”

In 25 chapters, author Uta Winterhager introduces our firm and our team. The focus is on our projects—we have completed over 60 buildings in Germany and other European countries. The author also gives a voice to many of those who have contributed to our success:

in conversations with employees, including our in-house sustainability and heathcare experts, as well as with clients and cooperation partners on a wide range of topics. Some of the interviews were conducted during visits to completed projects and future construction sites. The result is a comprehensive insight into the multifaceted work of JSWD.

We would like to thank everyone involved, especially our author Uta Winterhager and Andreas Kipar from LAND, who wrote the foreword as a long-standing companion and landscape architect.

The book, with ISBN 978-3-986121655, is now available in bookshops (publisher's page for the book at jovis).
