Lively school building in Esch-sur-Alzette

Partial new construction of the Ecole du Bruch inaugurated.

A promising milestone – today, the first phase of the school expansion was officially inaugurated in Luxembourg's Bruch district. The refurbishment of the site is one of the largest school projects in the Luxembourg city and is part of the urban redevelopment of the “Ecole Bruch” district. In addition to the renovation and expansion of the existing primary school, the construction of a new gymnasium, a preschool, and a childcare center is planned – all according to plans by JSWD.
Since construction began, two new wings have been built, with modern, well-lit classrooms, areas for the daycare center, a kitchen, and a new sports hall.
Together with the school and the neighboring residential buildings, the result is a three-part, open campus. Final completion is scheduled for 2029.
