Schwarz Digits Campus in Bad Friedrichshall inaugurated
The Schwarz Group has unveiled the IT campus for the political sector planned by JSWD. With this technology stack, the group is supporting Europe’s goals of technological independence and digital sovereignty. Various units within the division will be consolidated in the new “Home of Digits” to collaborate even more efficiently.
Spanning 15 hectares, the campus features 2,800 workstations for a total of 5,500 employees. In addition to modern offices, employees have access to 500 meeting rooms, a media center for up to 500 people, a restaurant with 1,000 seats, a daycare center for 280 children, and fitness facilities.
Five buildings with polygonal footprints lie like large flower petals in the topographically varied landscape of the Neckar Valley and enclose a spacious green area. All parking spaces are integrated into the slope and surrounded by terraced natural stone walls. The outdoor facilities were developed in collaboration with LAND Germany.
JSWD was awarded the master planner contract after winning the competition. Our team also designed the high-quality interiors.
