Age-appropriate apartments and commercial and service facilities specifically for senior citizens - this is what building block 6 in Greencity Zurich, which is currently under construction, offers.
The sustainable urban quarter, which is being realized in accordance with the goals of the 2000-watt society, is located on the outskirts of the city on a former industrial site not far from Lake Zurich. JSWD designed the new building there for the general contractor Losinger Marazzi AG. Loggias, a light-flooded inner courtyard and an attic floor set back from the courtyard provide bright apartments. The concrete skeleton construction with low concrete requirements and the planned timber façade are factors for the desired SNBS (Swiss Sustainable Building Standard) gold certification.
Completion is planned for the end of 2026.
