Building application submitted for the final construction phase
The former Deutsche Bahn repair workshop in Leverkusen-Opladen: Cube Reals Estate is developing a colorful quarter here based on a basic concept by JSWD. The building application for the final building block has just been submitted. It was clear from the outset that the charm of the historic industrial architecture was to be largely preserved.
The picture on the left shows the two approx. 95 meter long halls, which will soon enter the reconstruction phase, during gutting. The new use: attractive spaces for offices, restaurants and fitness facilities.
The buildings that have already been completed, which are arranged like windmills around the future quarter square, contain condominiums, student apartments, additional office space and a multi-storey parking lot.
