Cooperation between JSWD and BIG for the German Bundestag
On March 19, the exhibition on the urban planning competition "Luisenblock Ost" was officially opened in the Ernst-Reuter-Haus in Berlin. The contribution of the cooperation partnership between JSWD and the Bjarke Ingels Group is also on display. The building project extends the federal ribbon to the east.
The joint design by JSWD and BIG integrates the existing listed buildings and at the same time gives the building ensemble an independent address on the east side. A wooden roof, visible from afar, spans the central hall and a forecourt facing the Spree. It provides shade and serves as a support for photovoltaic elements. We congratulate the winners.
