JSWD's design for the construction site East 03
Starting at 11 a.m., the city of Cologne invites the public to this year's Habor Day. Among other things, the start of construction work on the port park will be celebrated.
Over the next few years, the Deutz Harbor will be transformed into an urban, socially and functionally mixed city district. Approximately 3,000 apartments, 6,000 jobs, daycare centers, a school, and space for restaurants, culture, and leisure activities will be created on approximately 38 hectares.
Last year, JSWD won the competition for the first construction site. The goal of this pioneer: a mixed-use project with a high point, known as the “Deutzer Block”, which will serve as a model for the entire neighborhood. The East 03 construction site is being developed by Kreer Development.
