Leasing launch for Skygreen building
JSWD has designed a timber-hybrid office building on the banks of the Landwehr Canal, just a stone’s throw from Berlin’s Potsdamer Platz. Our design convinced CA Immobilien Anlagen AG (CA Immo) during the two-phase competition. The plot is in the heart of an expansive green space.
The structure with a square-shaped floor plan maintains generous distances to its current neighbors, such as the Berlin Lapidarium. To the north, it is bordered by a “blue-green boulevard” that connects the adjacent park with the banks of the Landwehr Canal.
The interplay of new and historic buildings together with the ample open space lends the area an extremely welcoming atmosphere. Two-storey “Greendecks” create a seamless connection between the interior and exterior. Solar panels integrated into the green roof generate renewable energy.
CA Immo has now launched the leasing process
